- MAB Corporation (MAB) announces a $1 billion residential development, at Docklands. The Parkland Precinct at NewQuay will deliver a five hectare residential and parkland area along Victoria's harbour - approximately equivalent in area to Albert Park's St Vincent Place.

- Victoria Harbour selected for newly launched Climate Positive Development Program
- Victoria Harbour, an urban regeneration project was announced today as one among 16 founding projects of the Climate Positive Development Program, a Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) program that will support the development of large-scale urban projects that demonstrate cities can grow in ways that are "climate positive." Climate Positive real estate developments will strive to reduce the amount of on-site CO2 emissions to below zero.

- VicUrban has welcomed President Bill Clinton's announcement today that two Victorian projects are included in the16 projects globally that form the Climate Positive Development Program.

- Route 48 (North Balwyn-Docklands) will be changed to travel via Collins Street instead of Flinders Street, and extended to Victoria Harbour, Docklands from September 2009.
