Constructed in 1917 by the Anglican Church, the Mission to Seafarers offered a range of services for seafarers of all nationalities and creeds. Its architectural styles include the Spanish Mission revival style and a more domestic English arts and crafts style in the central section of the building. The domed element of the gymnasium, forming the apex of the triangular site, is an important physical landmark in the Docklands area. Located at 717 Flinders Street, it is worth a visit.
